About this collection

Red-light therapy, also called photobiomodulation, shines red and near-infrared light from LEDs onto the skin. It is studied for skin, muscle recovery and sleep, but the evidence for health effects is mixed and many studies are small. We list it as an amenity, not a treatment, and we do not review or test the devices.

Each of these hotels names red light or photobiomodulation in its own pages: full-body beds and panels in a spa or recovery suite, a lamp or mask in the room, or light therapy inside a facial or a clinic programme. Some name the device and some name only the treatment. Many offer it only with a particular suite, package, programme or seasonal event, and each profile says which, so check it is running before you book.
