Good sleep away from home comes down to a few plain things: a dark room, a quiet one, and a bed you can trust. Light at night delays the body’s sleep signal, and the World Health Organization links night-time noise to broken sleep. Mattresses and bedding matter too, because foams, finishes and flame retardants vary widely and hotels rarely say what theirs are made of.
Each of these hotels has published something specific about sleep: a sleep programme, a dedicated sleep room, or a named bed such as Eight Sleep or Hästens. Often it applies to one suite or room type, not the whole hotel, and each profile says which. Only one hotel has described soundproofing and blackout in every room, and that is its own account. None has named a certification for its linen or said how its mattresses meet fire rules, so those rows stay not yet reviewed. Ask for the right room when you book.
